Our client is a leading FMCG brand with a strong legacy across the region. we are on the lookout for a seasoned Country Manager to spearhead their operations, drive growth, and establish a solid footprint in this key market.

The Role:

As the Country Manager, you will take full ownership of the country’s operations, with a focus on delivering commercial excellence, strengthening distribution networks, and leading high-impact teams. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategy, execution, and hands-on market engagement in a dynamic and competitive FMCG landscape.

  • Develop and execute a market-specific business strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Oversee end-to-end operations including sales, distribution, logistics, and customer service.
  • Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of performance, accountability, and growth.
  • Forge strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners to expand market reach.
  • Monitor competitive activities, consumer trends, and market dynamics to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and excellence in execution across all functions.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align local execution with broader organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed business performance reports to senior leadership.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong track record in the GCC.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing large teams and complex operations.
  • Deep understanding of local market dynamics, retail landscapes, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and results orientation.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Must be available for immediate joining.
  • Arabic language skills and prior Oman market experience are highly advantageous.
