Job description

Experience in a similar position (years): +10 years' experience with Projects Cost Control Systems (preferably in Oil/Gas Industry).

Degree qualified in Accounting, Engineering, or similar.

High level of understanding of SAP systems.

  1. Extensive experience in project cost control management.
  2. Participate in the Project Budget preparation.
  3. Coordinate the detailed preparation and issues of various budgets (internal & external) with input from the project team members.
  4. Prepare the Cost Control reports.
  5. Assist in cost trends analysis.
  6. Monitor and assess commitments, variations, and the value of work done.
  7. Participate in monitoring and controlling project expenditures.
  8. Control and input commitments data; allocate commitments to budgets.
  9. Verify invoices and cash calls from contractors and vendors.
  10. Prepare cash flow estimates and final forecast costs.
  11. File the cost control documents according to the document filing system.
  12. Ensure full process administration (open, register, analyze, control, report, close).
  13. Estimate changes.
  14. Develop a Work Breakdown Structure and Cost Breakdown Structure.
  15. Establish comprehensive cost control procedures.
  16. Provide cost support and guidance to the project team.
  17. Perform as a focal point for costing work.
  18. Establish and maintain appropriate costing philosophy and methodology.
  19. Implement an efficient invoicing process between different project locations.
  20. Monitor invoices in liaison with the accounting department to enable timely payments.
