Job summary

Abroad Work in Salalah, Oman is seeking a competent and reliable Cashier on a contract basis. You will handle cash transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain accurate sales records.

You will greet customers, process payments, balance the cash drawer, assist with inventory, and contribute to a smooth checkout experience across busy shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Balance cash register at end of shift.
• Maintain clean checkout areas.
• Provide product information and promotions to customers.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues when needed.
• Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile with total sales.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels.
