Job Description

Description of Work

• Present himself professionally with confidence in front of clients and possess technical & practical knowledge.
• Be aware of business opportunities related to his department.
• Support the Tendering Department in preparing technical requirements and provide commercial costing during the bidding stage.
• Provide expert advice on the design, planning, and management of civil construction projects, covering all types of residential and commercial construction, particularly in large public infrastructure projects.
• Make expert assessments of selected sites for construction, evaluating structural, environmental, and commercial feasibility of future projects. Responsible for creating detailed drawings, plans, schedules, and estimating the cost of construction and engineering work required.
• Ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve any issues and problems arising on-site, offering expert advice, closing out any possible gaps, and addressing unforeseen risks.
• Manage his team effectively and ensure that every project they engage with has a weekly report presented to the Management Department, indicating:
  
  • Status of projects
  • Technical requirements needed by clients
  • Issues and solution approaches

Working Hours

Work is mainly office-based design work, client meetings, and interactions with professionals from other disciplines, as well as occasional site-based work during construction periods and project finishing stages.

Extra hours during weekends and national holidays may occasionally be required to ensure that construction projects meet their deadlines.

Travel overseas may be required for business meetings and attending seminars.
