An established industry player is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Compression EPC Contractor for a major project in Oman. This role involves managing the safe execution of piping fabrication while ensuring adherence to HSE and quality standards. With a focus on effective project delivery, you will interface with both company and contractor teams to resolve issues and maintain alignment. Lead and manage the Compression EPC Contractor for the safe and successful execution of CP Topsides piping fabrication scopes to meet overall project objectives by ensuring HSE, Quality, planning, and effective delivery of the NFPS Compression Project.
Additionally, ensure the constructability of the design aligns with established Project Engineering Drawings, industry processes, and standards. Effectively manage issues and resolutions through strong interfaces with both company and contractor teams, delivering full alignment on fabrication execution.
Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Minimum of 8 years experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up) within the Oil & Gas Industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role. Relevant work experience may substitute for technical education.
Good knowledge of project execution procedures, field management, and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completions.
Experience working with oil and gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction firms.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria related to fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable.
Understanding of offshore and onshore facilities, yard operations, and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience in large-scale operations in areas such as Operations, Projects, or Subsurface.
