Job summary

Anotech Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join a project developing a midscale LNG plant intended as a regional hub for marine LNG bunkering. The candidate will oversee commissioning activities by contractors to ensure the plant is fully operational for Start-Up.

Requirements include a Master’s in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering, 10+ years in Oil & Gas and 5+ years in commissioning/operations, with strong OPERCOM and LNG process knowledge. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years in the Oil & Gas industry.
• 5+ years in a similar commissioning/operations position.
• Strong knowledge of OPERCOM methodology, LNG processes and commissioning of O&G facilities.

Responsibilities

• Preparation: Support the review of Operational Test Procedures and coordinate with HSE for safety.
• Execution: Assist in performing Operational Tests and participate in GAS-IN preparation.
• Safety & Risk: Promote HSE behavior and ensure Risk Assessments are in place for all activities.
• Database Management: Support the Easyplant database with discipline leaders.
• Handover: Ensure smooth subsystem-based handover to Operations.
• Environment: LEAN organization with multi-competency personnel and high safety standards.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Commissioning & Start-up Site Lead, you will ensure the completeness of commissioning activities performed by contractors to guarantee the plant is fully operational for start-Up.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation: Support the review of Operational Test Procedures and coordinate with HSE to ensure all safety aspects are covered.
• Execution: Assist in performing Operational Tests and participate in the preparation for GAS-IN
• Safety & Risk: Promote HSE behavior, perform regular audits of contractors, and ensure Risk Assessments (JRA) are in place for all activities.
• Database Management: Support the control of the Easyplant database with discipline leaders.
• Handover: Ensure a smooth, subsystem-based handover to the Operations team according to defined priorities.
• Environment: A LEAN organization focused on multi-competency personnel and high safety standards.

Profile Required

Education: Master’s degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Significant experience with large onshore plants and LNG projects.
• At least 5+ years in a similar commissioning/operations position.

Skills: Strong knowledge of OPERCOM methodology, LNG processes, and commissioning of O&G facilities.

Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English
