Job Overview/Role:

A skilled and motivated person with a proven track record of managing commercial aspects of projects, ensuring financial and contractual success, and driving business growth. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, financial acumen, contract management expertise, and leadership skills, to support the Company in the decision-making process on new projects or proposals by technically and commercially evaluating the proposal, due diligence of the related parties, and studying the market viability in terms of cost and benefits.

Education Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE) (Mechanical/Chemical)
  2. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  3. PMP Certification – Will be an added advantage

Age Group: 40 to 45 Years

Twelve (12) to Fifteen (15) years of experience in analyzing project proposals, planning and execution, and at least ten years in project evaluation, proposal reviews and assessment, techno-commercial diligence, and preparing executive summaries for project approval.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Keen eye and acumen in identifying new opportunities, gaps, and areas for cost-effectiveness.
  • Working with facts and details and logically inferring decisions based on sound databases.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts, including identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate project proposals through research of business models, commercial value for various projects/new businesses identified.
  • Ability to present proposals effectively to stakeholders and facilitate decisions.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commercial aspects of project development and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Undertake and manage the necessary due diligence, risk analysis, and mitigation for new proposals.
  • Assist in preparing the right business and financing models and bridging the gaps/potential opportunities for investment decisions.
  • Conduct strategic research and due diligence investigations on various opportunities related to new proposals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to seek meaningful clarifications and details in project proposals to close a business opportunity successfully.
  • Prepare reports, models, and forecasts.
  • Support or lead the internal approvals process including interface with finance and legal teams as well as management.
  • Provide input and comments on project, policy, and other papers related to new proposal operations and development across a range of key themes and sectors.
