JOB TITLE

Commercial Manager - Butchery | MAF Retail | Head Office Oman

ROLE SUMMARY

The Commercial Manager - Butchery is responsible for coordinating with buyers as well as supporting purchases for Majid AlFuttaim Retail. The role holder is also responsible for assisting with selection and examining products that get to store shelves, in catalogues, and online.

ROLE PROFILE

• Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing butchery products while maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Source the highest quality meat products at competitive prices in line with the company’s strategic goals.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with high-performing suppliers.
• Oversee purchasing details, including order specifications and delivery schedules.
• Deliver Trainings to the butcher teams.
• Conduct cost scenario analysis and benchmarking to enhance sourcing efficiency.
• Stay informed on market trends and shifts in supplier negotiation dynamics.
• Ensure clear communication with key stakeholders to meet procurement specifications and expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
• 5+ years of experience in similar position, at least 2 years of experience in sourcing for butchery.
• Experience as a butcher is a must.
• Experience in Retail industry is a must.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Negotiation skills.
