A leading educational institution in Oman is seeking committed Class Teachers for August 2025 to deliver a high-quality curriculum. This full-time position requires strong educational qualifications, with a passion for fostering student development and maintaining high academic standards while respecting Omani culture.
Class Teachers have responsibility for delivering the majority of the curriculum to
their assigned class. Each year group operates as a tight-knit unit, ensuring that
all children receive the same opportunities and that all Class Teachers feel
supported by a strong team. Subject-specialist teachers for Arabic, Music, PE and
Swimming enhance the teaching and learning. In addition, Class Teachers are
further supported by a team of Teaching Assistants.

Experience and Qualifications
• UK Post Graduate Certificate of Education (or equivalent) if B.Ed not held.
• A proven track record of excellent teaching as a qualified teacher for at least
three years, with experience teaching the age group you are applying for.
• Excellent working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Knowledge of the Cambridge Primary International Curriculum. (D)
• A strong academic background, stature and experience that will command the
respect of pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider community.
• An understanding of the demands of a UK independent day school
• A commitment to academic progress and the welfare and safeguarding of
pupils.
• Knowledge and understanding of recent educational developments and best
practice.
• Experience working with children who have English as a Second Language is

• Ability to stretch the pupils, whilst also ensuring the curriculum is accessible to
all.
• Ability to inspire children with a love of learning.
• Ability to understand the needs, challenges and opportunities of an
