Head Chef - Middle Eastern Cuisine



Our restaurant in Nizwa is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef with expertise in Middle Eastern cuisine. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, authentic dishes that showcase the flavors of Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries. This position requires a creative and passionate chef who can lead a team, handle high-volume production, and maintain strict food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design menus that reflect traditional Middle Eastern dishes while also incorporating modern twists
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, recipe execution, and food presentation
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure all ingredients are stocked for daily operations
- Ensure all dishes meet our quality standards and are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times, adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials to keep our offerings fresh and enticing

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine
- Proficient in preparing traditional Egyptian dishes such as koshari, foul medames, and molokhia
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Creativity when developing menus and an understanding of current food trends in the industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

We offer competitive salary of 1300$ per month plus benefits. This position is open to both Egyptian nationals and foreigners with relevant experience. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
