Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Butchery Supervisor for its Hypermarket Oman. The role oversees daily butchery operations, ensures product quality and freshness, and drives sales targets. You will lead and develop the team, monitor stock, and enforce food safety and hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a meat or retail environment, with strong leadership and Arabic language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a butchery, meat processing, or retail food environment.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, product handling, storage standards, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Arabic speaker is a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily butchery operations, ensuring product quality, freshness, and availability at all times.
• Manage stock levels, place replenishment orders, and monitor deliveries to maintain optimal inventory.
• Control waste, shrinkage, and stock losses through proper handling, storage, and rotation practices.
• Ensure accurate pricing, promotional execution, and attractive product displays in line with store standards.
• Monitor slow-moving products and implement actions to maximize sales before expiration.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, health, and security standards within the butchery section.
• Lead, train, and monitor team performance to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Analyze section performance, customer feedback, and operational reports to drive continuous improvement.
