TradesApp is seeking a qualified Boiler Operator in Muscat to operate and monitor steam or hot-water boilers, ensuring safe and efficient performance. You will inspect safety systems, manage water treatment tasks, and maintain precise records of operation and fuel usage.

The role requires a Class 1 Boiler Operator Certificate and at least five years of industrial boiler experience, with a strong focus on safety and emergency response readiness.

Qualifications

• Formal boiler operator qualification with a Class 1 certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of boiler safety and water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam or hot-water boilers and associated equipment.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption.
• Inspect safety devices, pressure-relief valves, pumps, compressors, and fans.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Conduct boiler-water testing and support water-treatment activities.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
• Maintain accurate operational and fuel-consumption records.
