GDC Middle East in Oman is seeking an Airfield Ground Support Equipment mechanic to assess and repair light-duty trucks, tractors, generators and other GSE.

You will inspect, maintain, and repair GSE including Aviation Ground Power Units (AGPUs), and work within established maintenance quality control processes and standards.

Additional tasks may be assigned by the GSE maintenance lead, with considerable discretion in how duties are executed to meet operational needs.

Job Requirements:

Conducts assessment and repair of light duty trucks (gas and diesel), tractors, general grounds equipment, generators, and Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) assigned to the Airfield. Additionally, inspects, maintains, and repairs GSE to include Aviation Ground Power Units (AGPUs) in accordance with applicable manuals.

Major Duties and Repsponsibilites:

1. Repairs light duty trucks, tractors, general grounds equipment, generators and aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
2. Inspects, maintains, and repairs GSE to include Aviation Ground Power Units (AGPUs).
3. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
4. Other tasks as directed by the GSE maintenance lead.
5. Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
