The project:

Join our international consultancy spanning five global hubs, overseeing work for leading organizations across public and private sectors. Our Middle East and North Africa hub, established in 1998, has successfully operated across various countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.
  • Leading the Controls team, including programme and Mace employees.
  • Building the Controls team responsible for functions such as data management, benefits realization, change control, earned value management, interface management, reporting, risk, and schedule management.
  • Driving performance aligned with the Portfolio drumbeat and governance structure.
  • Communicating performance insights to project teams.
  • Overseeing process improvements and standard procedures.
  • Training team members in processes and procedures as needed.
  • This is a client-facing role requiring presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accountability for PMO and project controls performance across assigned hubs.
  • Ensuring alignment with best practices and ISO standards in all control activities.
  • Providing expert advice and support across projects and hubs.
  • Building strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Leading delivery of technical PMO and project controls services, including digital services.
  • Collaborating towards net zero carbon goals, managing associated emissions and reductions during project delivery.
