Qualifications

Job description

The main responsibility of this position is to manage the infrastructure
�Installing, maintaining & upgrading of servers, firewalls, Routers & Switches as required and approved.
�Ensure daily backups, all system interfaces, Server hardware and logs.
�Assist IT head in developing new projects.
�Assist in developing and implementing policies & procedures for increasing IT services to higher level.
�Mentor & monitor System Support Assistants to enable them to handle the day-to-day trouble shooting and support withinacceptable standards and time limit.
�Assist in planning & maintain the DSR setup as approved without disturbing the existing network load.
�Ensure proper update of patches and service packs as required and recommended by the vendors.

�Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Active Directory, Routers, Firewalls etc.
�Hands on experience on Linux / Windows / Office software�s & applications.
�Operational experience with security issues & access control mechanisms
�Knowledge of network monitoring & other network administrative tools
�Ability to work independently and as a team with good problem solving skills
�Ability to work under pressure & in diverse settings & culture.
�High degree of commitment & diligence.
�Readiness to travel and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Experience
