Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure staff is working together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock requisitions. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and primary point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Develop positive working relationships, support the team to achieve goals, and listen and respond to concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings. Read and visually verify information in various formats and visually inspect tools and equipment to identify defects. Safety, mobility, and physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; moving objects up to 50 pounds; working in confined spaces; and navigating stairs or service ramps.
