A leading investment holding group with a diversified portfolio across multiple sectors. The organisation is actively investing in AI to enhance decision making, operational efficiency and portfolio value creation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise AI use cases across the group, including investment screening, data driven insights, and operational automation
• Design and deliver AI solutions end to end.
• Work closely with investment, finance, and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI products
• Partner with IT and external vendors to build and deploy scalable solutions
• Evaluate and manage AI vendors and technologies, ensuring cost efficiency and performance (including model utilisation and token optimisation)
• Integrate internal and external data sources to enable better decision making across the organisation
• Ensure solutions are aligned with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements
• Support adoption of AI tools and platforms across the organisation.
• Engage with portfolio companies to identify opportunities to leverage AI and share best practices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience, with strong exposure across AI, data, or digital product delivery
• Proven track record of building and deploying AI/ML or LLM based solutions in production
• Strong technical understanding of AI architectures, data pipelines, and modern cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Experience designing AI agents, automation solutions, or data driven applications
• Commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate cost, ROI, and vendor solutions
• Experience working in financial services, investment environments, or data-intensive businesses is highly preferred
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, technology, and investment teams
• Comfortable operating in a lean, fast moving environment without large internal teams
