Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industrial gas clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform strategic planning and product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored presentations and proposals that showcase the benefits of our industrial gas solutions.
- Monitor account performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Manage pricing strategies and contract negotiations to secure profitable agreements while remaining competitive in the market.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess customer operations and identify opportunities for additional service offerings.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory management for key accounts.
- Prepare detailed reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market insights for senior management review.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and safety standards, ensuring compliance in all customer interactions and contracts.
- Lead training sessions and workshops for customers to promote product knowledge and safety standards related to industrial gases.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration, with a strong understanding of industrial gas applications.
- 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within the industrial gases or related sectors.
- Proven track record of managing large accounts and achieving sales growth in a competitive environment.
- Industry certifications such as ISO, OSHA, or Six Sigma are highly desirable for compliance and operational excellence.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the industrial sector, particularly in manufacturing or healthcare applications.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions that benefit account management strategies.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to address challenges and implement solutions effectively.
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites and industry events, demonstrating commitment and engagement in the role.
