Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Auckland seeks a Lead Clinician with clinical leadership and a strong consumer focus. The role comprises 0.2 FTE Lead Clinician and 0.8 FTE clinical practice, with potential for 0.8 FTE minimum for the right candidate.

You will collaborate with staff, families, and community teams to promote recovery within youth services. We welcome NZ-registered psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, social workers and occupational therapists.

Qualifications

• NZ registered clinician in one of the listed professions.
• Experience in a clinical leadership or lead role is desirable.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong consumer focus and relationship-building with staff, clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical team and coordinate services for youth mental health across the Auckland region.
• Promote service user recovery through collaboration with clinical staff and community agencies.
