An organization supporting youth in Christchurch seeks an Aftercare worker for its Youth Residential Programme. The role involves managing a caseload, facilitating group sessions, and developing community support systems. Candidates should possess a level 4 qualification in health, ideally related to mental health and addictions, alongside related skills in group delivery and professional judgement. This is a 20-hour per week position on a fixed-term contract.

Aftercare is a key role in our Youth Residential Service, working within the house and within the wider community to support our resident's journey to wellbeing.
Odyssey House Christchurch has been providing drug and alcohol treatment programmes for 40 years. Our Youth Residential programme offers a mix of clinical approaches including Māori and Pasifika concepts of health and wellbeing from a Therapeutic Community model.
As part of our team, you will build upon the proud history of Odyssey in Canterbury and ensure Aftercare services meet clients' needs in the current world.
