Job summary

William Colenso College in Hawke's Bay seeks a enthusiastic, New Zealand registered teacher to join our Year 7 to 13 co-educational college. This is a full-time, fixed-term role from 27 Jan 2027 to 26 Jan 2028, in a highly supportive, collaborative teaching environment.

The successful applicant will work with two other teachers in an inclusive school culture, delivering across multiple learning areas with a focus on restorative practice and relationships.

Qualifications

• Must hold New Zealand teaching registration.
• Willing to teach Year 7–13 in a co-educational setting.
• Collaborative team player in a supportive school culture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two other teachers to plan and deliver lessons.
• Teach across listed learning areas (English, Health and PE, Languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Te reo Māori, Technology, The arts).
• Support student wellbeing through restorative practices and inclusive pedagogy.
