Job summary

OneSchool Global - New Zealand is seeking an inspiring Year 7–8 teacher for our Timaru campus to join a forward‑thinking, student‑centred learning community.

This full‑time, permanent role starts Term 1, 2027 (or as soon as possible) and supports students transitioning to secondary learning, with opportunities to engage via Zoom for specialist subjects and to contribute to a collaborative campus.

Qualifications

• Registered New Zealand Teacher with current certification.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Experience teaching Year 7-8 students (or similar) in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons tailored for Year 7-8 students.
• Foster student ownership of learning and collaboration.
• Implement Learn to Learn framework to develop learning strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching practices across the campus.
• Encourage inquiry, creativity and real-world problem-solving.
