Job summary

South Auckland SDA School in Auckland seeks a full-time Certificated teacher for Years 1–8 to join our Middle School Team, where collaboration is encouraged for both learners and teachers.

The role supports curriculum delivery across English, Health and Physical Education, Learning languages, Mathematics and Science, Te Reo Māori, The Arts and Technology, with a focus on our Seventh-day Adventist Special Character.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ teaching certification/registration.
• Experience teaching Years 1–8 preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a middle school environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum across core subjects listed (English, Health & Physical Education, Mathematics, Science, Social sciences, Technologies, Te reo Māori, The arts).
• Participate in religious instruction aligned with Seventh-day Adventist Special Character.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and school activities reflecting the school's values.
