Maunu School in Whangārei seeks a Year 3 teacher for a fixed-term cohort project (Jan 2027–Dec 2027) within a Years 1–8 setting. You will help pilot new cohort structures and curriculum delivery approaches.

The role involves designing engaging NZ Curriculum-aligned units, testing flexible groupings, and running targeted intervention cycles, while applying PB4L and trauma-informed practices to support student wellbeing and progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certificated teaching qualification in NZ.
• Experience across years 1–8.
• Familiar with PB4L and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to design engaging NZ Curriculum-aligned units.
