We are seeking a highly effective, passionate and collaborative team member. We are looking for a kaiako with an excellent understanding of teaching and learning, and the ability to make learning engaging and fun. Being able to foster positive relationships and partnerships is essential.

As a competent and effective teacher you will:

  • Be an outstanding practitioner with strong, current pedagogical, curriculum and assessment knowledge, particularly in literacy and mathematics.
  • Have proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all members of a school team.
  • Promote and embrace innovative and inclusive Learning Space practices, support students in positive, restorative and purposeful ways.
  • Have knowledge of and commitment to the principles of collaborative and innovative teaching and learning practices.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative skills and exceptional communication abilities to maintain appropriate networks at all levels.
