Overview

Sunnyhills School is a thriving and inclusive East Auckland primary school with a roll of approximately 500 students. We are committed to fostering a love of ‘learning for life’ through our school GEMS and ensuring every child achieves their full potential. Due to our Y6 team leader moving overseas an opportunity has arisen for an aspiring leader to join our dedicated and highly collaborative team. The successful candidate will lead our Y6 team, working together with 2 other teachers in our Kauri Hub (Flexible Learning Environment) to ensure high standards of collaborative teaching and learning for all our students. We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Y6 team leader to join our dedicated leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Y6 team, working with 2 other teachers in the Kauri Hub to ensure high standards of collaborative teaching and learning for all students.
  • Foster collaboration, positivity, and collective responsibility within the team.
  • Champion high-quality teaching and learning with a focus on student achievement.

Salary and conditions

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers has a range, depending on the applicant\'s qualifications and experience. Individuals\' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
