MITA, 1 FTU

We seek a forward-thinking and enthusiastic bilingual teacher to join our team from term 1, 2026. If you are a reflective and organised NZ-registered teacher, we have the position for you. Our students seek a teacher who has experience in using assessment to support learning, is culturally responsive, can develop strong learner-centred relationships and understands how to accelerate achievement.

Since 2021, we have been on a journey to grow Te Reo Māori in our community. We started a bilingual unit in 2021 and have expanded it to three classes over the last four years. We are now at a point where our classes are overflowing with tamariki who want to learn Te Reo Māori. In 2026, we are adding 1 more class and taking on the challenge of becoming a rumaki reo. Phase 1 (Y1–3) will be fully immersed, and Phase 2 (Y4–6) will be bilingual. We have two vacancies in 2026, and they are both in Y4–6.

Our school has a fantastic staff, a supportive BOT, and incredibly talented students, where we all learn together and show our values of We CARE.

Please apply if you want to be part of our team.
