Job summary

Arataki School in the Bay of Plenty is seeking passionate certificated teachers to join our collaborative team for a fixed-term role. You will teach across Years 1–8, delivering the refreshed curriculum with strong pedagogy and contributing to Maths No Problem, iDeal, PBCL and MITEY programmes.

The successful applicants will be well organised, have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour, and create warm, caring classrooms where students can thrive.

Qualifications

• Registered as a certificated teacher with a current practising certificate.
• Sound understanding of the refreshed NZ curriculum.
• Demonstrated effective pedagogy and collaborative planning ability.

We are seeking passionate and motivated teachers to join our collaborative and supportive team. The successful applicants will demonstrate a sound understanding of the refreshed curriculum and effective pedagogy including an understanding of the Science of Learning.

We use structured programmes including Maths No Problem, iDeal and PBCL and MITEY. Strength in teaching these programmes would be advantageous.

The successful applicants should be well organised, have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour, willing to go the extra mile and be able to create a warm and caring class atmosphere where students can thrive.
