Job summary

6am Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee the manufacturing workshop, guiding from toolroom basics through CNC programming and robotics integration. You will lead a dynamic team, manage production schedules, and ensure high quality standards for a varied customer base both nationally and internationally.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with management and clients, and a track record of driving efficiency and team performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing workshop or production floor.
• Strong leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Excellent scheduling, prioritisation and resource planning skills.
• Good communication with managers, clients, and teams.
• Proven ability to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations and production planning.
• Lead and mentor the team, conduct regular meetings and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with other departments and clients to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor resources, equipment, and workflow to prevent bottlenecks.

Motivate and lead the team, as well as coaching to improve individual performance. Communicate with other managers internally and with clients externally.
