Job summary

Terra Industrial New Zealand Limited is seeking a practical General/Yard Hand to support our Component Rebuild Centre in Christchurch. You will help with logistics, component handling, dispatch, and workshop tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The role involves receiving and dispatching components, documenting items, cleaning and preparing parts, and assisting with rebuilds. A Class 2 licence is required to move materials between sites.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform practical, hands-on tasks in a workshop environment.
• Experience in workshop, warehousing, logistics or similar setting preferred.
• Valid Class 2 driver’s licence required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receipting and dispatching components.
• Checking, photographing, labelling and documenting components.
• Washing and preparing equipment and parts.
• Assisting with component reassembly after rebuilds.
• Delivering components between Christchurch sites (Class 2 licence required).
• Providing general support across the workshop.
