  • Professional Growth: Join a forward-thinking digital environment where you'll help shape workflow practice, platform direction and modern ways of delivering business value.
  • Benefits: We do more than just pay you a salary. We offer 5 weeks annual leave, hybrid working, development support and a range of wellbeing benefits.

We are looking for an experienced Workflow Practice Lead to join our Digital Solutions team.

You'll take technical ownership of workflow solutions and practices, helping Council automate key operational activities, improve processes, coordinate workloads and build better insights for decision-making.

We currently use ServiceNow and need someone who can bring strong configuration, development, integration and platform governance skills. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Your focus in this role will include:

  • Taking technical ownership of workflow solutions, platforms and practices.
  • Designing, configuring and implementing ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
  • Developing workflows, automations, integrations and custom applications.
  • Working with business stakeholders to translate needs into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Supporting the roadmap for workflow solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Providing second-level technical support and monitoring platform health.

You'll be a senior workflow or ServiceNow specialist who enjoys solving complex problems, building trusted stakeholder relationships and improving how work gets done.

You will bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years' experience in IT roles, including at least 4 years in a workflow engineering capacity.
  • Strong experience configuring, customising and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience delivering workflow automation across complex business processes and enterprise applications.
  • A practical understanding of ITIL, risk, security, architecture and platform governance.
  • The ability to translate technical detail into clear business value.
  • A collaborative, consulting mindset and confidence working with stakeholders across an organisation.
