Palmerston North City Council is looking for an experienced Workflow Practice Lead to join the Digital Solutions team. You will take technical ownership of workflow solutions and practices, designing, configuring and implementing ServiceNow across modules to automate operations and deliver insights for decision making.
The role requires 5–7 years in IT, with at least 4 years in workflow engineering, and strong governance, security and ITIL knowledge.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong ServiceNow capability who wants to do more than maintain a platform. You'll take technical ownership of workflow solutions and practices, helping Council automate key operational activities, improve processes, coordinate workloads and build better insights for decision-making.
We currently use ServiceNow and need someone who can bring strong configuration, development, integration and platform governance skills. Just as importantly, we're looking for someone curious about better ways of delivering workflow and automation outcomes, whether that's through ServiceNow, other workflow platforms, low-code tools, process improvement or new delivery approaches.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
