Oranga Tamariki in Greymouth is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our vibrant multi-cultural team. You will lead safety assessments, design strengths-based plans, and uplift whānau mana through collaborative practice with iwi and community partners.

We value genuine partnership, cultural competence, and ongoing whakapapa-based learning within a values-led agency focused on tamariki wellbeing and whānau support.

Qualifications

• Full SWRB registration or eligibility to register in NZ.
• Recognised social work qualification.
• Strong communication, resilience and cultural competence.
• Ability to document and demonstrate digital literacy.

Responsabilités

• Complete thorough safety and risk assessments.
• Lead hui with care and confidence.
• Design tailored, strengths-based, culturally aligned plans.
• Uplift the mana of whānau through every interaction.
• Work in true partnership with iwi, hapū, Māori organisations, community groups and fellow government agencies to create enduring, meaningful Whakapapa.
