We are looking for a qualified and passionate kaiako to join our small, dedicated team.

We are a community-based, not-for-profit centre where relationships come first. Our mixed-age setting (pēpi through to school-ready tamariki) creates a rich, nurturing environment that reflects the essence of whānau and belonging.

As a kaiako, you will:
● Build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau
● Contribute to a responsive, play-based learning programme aligned with Te Whāriki
● Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
● Support tamariki to explore, grow, and develop at their own pace
● Engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional growth

We are looking for someone who:
● Holds a recognised ECE qualification and current NZ teacher registration
● Is passionate about child-led learning and meaningful relationships
● Demonstrates a strong understanding of Te Whāriki
● Values bicultural practice and inclusive environments
● Is a team player who brings positivity, initiative, and care
● Thrives in a small, close-knit centre environment
