Engineering Trades Roles – Welders, Fabricators & Machinists | Dunedin

Tradestaff Dunedin is looking for skilled tradespeople to join our clients’ engineering teamsin Dunedin. If you have experience in welding, fabrication, machining, or general engineering, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for a Welder/Fabricator who possesses expertise in both welding and metal fabrication. This role wouldcombine the skills of a welder, who specialises in joining metal components through various welding processes, with those of a fabricator, who works with metal to create and assemble structures and finished products.Machinists with experience in precision machining. Needs to be comfortable working with lathes, milling machines, and producing components to tight tolerances from technical drawings.

We’re looking for people with experience in areas such as:
  • Structural steel fabrication and welding
  • Stainless or aluminium work (e.g. balustrades, pipework, handrails)
  • Sheetmetal and light fabrication
  • Manual or CNC machinists with experience in precision machining. Comfortable working with lathes, milling machines, and producing components to tight tolerances from technical drawings.
What you’ll need:
  • Ability to read and work from plans or technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Solid work ethic and reliability
