Job summary

Access Community Health kaiāwhina workers are invited to join a team delivering in-home support to tāngata in their own homes across Aotearoa. No qualifications or prior experience are required to start, with a focus on safe, respectful, person-centered care that respects culture, routines and boundaries.

We offer comprehensive paid training, flexible hours to fit study or family commitments, weekend availability with an extra 1.00 per hour, and paid travel time and mileage for longer trips;

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Ability to listen and respond to individual care needs.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, respectful, person-centered support in clients' homes.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Be mindful of clients' culture, routines, and boundaries.
