Job summary

Pathways is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Pukekohe. This role expands our House Recovery Service to include individual care packages and operates 24/7 supported accommodation with shift coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.

We are looking for a people person with a strong commitment to recovery principles, a NZ driver’s licence, first aid cert, and NZCHW or equivalent. NZ Tiriti understanding is valued.

Qualifications

• Understanding of recovery principles.
• Current full NZ driver’s licence.
• Current first aid certificate.
• NZCHW or equivalent required.
• Support Worker experience or similar preferred.
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support people to be well and thrive.
• Connect individuals with community resources for wellbeing and resilience.
• Help clients connect with their communities and build relationships.
• Provide medication support as needed.
• Support people with appointments and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the team to support client goals.
