Summerset by the Lake Village in New Zealand is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. This part-time role focuses on preparing production meals for our care centre and café, following established menus and dietary needs, while maintaining an audit-ready kitchen.

You will work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 8am to 5:30pm, 37 hours per fortnight, collaborating with kitchen staff, care teams and management to deliver a warm, nourishing dining experience for residents.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Cook, ideally in a healthcare or residential care setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
• Certification in safe food handling (preferred).
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and cooking production meals for our care centre as well as short order meals for the café, based on established menus and dietary needs
• Maintaining an "audit-ready" kitchen by adhering to Summerset's Food Control Plan
• Working collaboratively with kitchen staff, care teams and management to deliver an exceptional dining experience
