Job summary

odd saint, Queenstown, is hiring an experienced Kitchen Hand for weekend shifts. You will help keep the kitchen running, wash dishes and support chefs during busy service, with a focus on pace and reliability.

Work Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30am to 3:30pm, in a busy all-day eatery. This role offers consistent daytime hours and the chance to grow within Future Hospitality Group’s network of venues.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen hand experience in a busy cafe, restaurant or similar environment.
• Comfortable working at pace during high-volume service.
• Reliable, organised and capable of contributing to a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Keeping on top of dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen and wash-up area.
• Supporting the chefs with basic food prep when needed.
• Restocking and keeping work areas ready for service.
• Managing rubbish and recycling.
• Following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Jumping in and supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service.
