WSP NZ is seeking a Team Leader - Water in Auckland to lead and develop a team delivering safe, high‑quality water infrastructure outcomes. You will balance delivery with people leadership, grow capability, and maintain client‑centric focus across projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 7–10 years of experience, and strong communication and stakeholder skills. A professional qualification is preferred and a clean driver license is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification preferred or working towards this.
  • 7–10 years of experience as Designer/Project Manager.
  • Proven people leadership capability and team development.
  • Strong delivery and assurance experience across water infrastructure.
  • Commercial acumen, client focus, and project financial health awareness.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Current, clean Driver Licence.

  • Lead and develop a team of water professionals to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes for clients.
  • Build and sustain a high‑performance, inclusive team culture aligned to strategy and guiding principles.
