Qualifications

  • Minimum full class 2 license required, class 4 is advantageous.
  • Experience with PE pipe works and 3 Waters maintenance is preferred.

Job description

Tradestaff is on the lookout for a superstar Water Maintenance Technician for an esteemed client!


Day to day, you will be completing repairs and maintenance of existing water mains, service lines, hydrants and tobies.


This role will require flexibility with overtime and optional weekend work to be completed when required.


In addition to the above you may undertake:
  • Connections on commercial and residential properties including backflow preventers instillation
  • Pipe installations and maintenance using plant equipment
  • Pressure test and sterilize new mains before connection to existing networks
  • Installation of valves, hydrants and associated water main fittings

What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum full class 2 license, class 4 is highly advantageous
  • Level 3 minimum Water Qualification will be highly regarded
  • Experience with PE pipe works (pipe welding) is an advantage
  • Experience working within 3 Waters maintenance
  • Strong commitment to health & safety
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physically fit + able to get hands on and the job done
