Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer – Wastewater Networks in Auckland. You will use your technical expertise to maintain and improve our critical wastewater infrastructure, partnering with planning, operations, maintenance and renewals teams to identify opportunities and deliver improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing network and fault data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Scoping and delivering capital renewal and improvement projects across the wastewater network.
• Capitalising capital expenditure post completion of renewal and improvement projects.
• Supporting the optimisation of maintenance programmes to improve network reliability and customer outcomes.
• Ensuring network assets meet current engineering standards and operational needs.
• Reviewing and monitoring infrastructure works by internal and external contractors.
• Responding to and managing network incidents with timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Participating in an after-hours on-call roster to support operational requirements.
