Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Christchurch is seeking reliable, physically fit workers to help move products from the warehouse to stores. Roles involve heavy lifting, RF scanning, and voice picking with varied shift patterns.

Pay starts at 24+ NZD per hour, with rosters typically Monday to Friday and some Saturday overtime. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous; forklift licences are a bonus for upcoming positions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We're looking for great, reliable, physically fit people to join our team to help our clients get their products out of the warehouse and into stores as quickly as possible! We have a variety of roles available across Christchurch, with different shift patterns and hours of work. ALL of our roles are physically demanding... so if you're keen to put in some hard mahi get your application in today!

The role

• Pay rate starting at $24+ per hour pending shift
• Rosters typically Monday to Friday, some Saturday OT
• Picking and stacking product off the belts and onto conveyors or pallets
• Lots of heavy lifting and careful handling of product. Accurate, safe, and efficient lifting required.

What you'll bring

• Physically fit to regularly lift up to 25kg
• Happy working on your feet the entire shift
• Reliable transport to and from work
• A hard worker that puts H&S and good manual handling technique as a priority
• Previous warehouse or labouring experience; including RF scanning and voice picking operations.

We also have forklifting positions coming up, including counter balance and reach. So any additional licences you have is a HUGE bonus! This is a very physical role and is NOT stacking individual small products onto shelves. You will be lifting large heavy boxes and awkward shaped products in a warehouse, so MUST be comfortable with this!
