Job summary

Asmuss is seeking a motivated Storeperson at our Te Rapa, Hamilton site for a permanent, full-time role. You will pick, pack, and prepare customer orders, load/unload trucks with a forklift and gantry crane, and help maintain accurate stock records.

We value teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a clean full driver's licence (F endorsement preferred), and are reliable, hard-working, and computer-literate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Clean full driver's licence; F endorsement preferred.
• Physically demanding role requiring strong work ethic and reliability.
• Solution-focused and resilient under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of your work.
• Experience with Gantry Crane is preferred (Unit Standards 3800 & 30072) but not essential.
• Computer literate with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and overhead gantry crane.
• Receive and check incoming stock; put products away in correct locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through stocktakes and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement while keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
