Job summary

EQUIP Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Dispatch Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Wellington. You will help keep the warehouse running smoothly, picking, packing and dispatching orders while maintaining stock control.

This temp-to-perm role offers a hands-on, varied day, with opportunities to learn and progress within the team and contribute to accurate inventory and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, dispatch, stores or logistics experience.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in accurate work.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and time management.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
• Coordinating outbound freight and dispatch.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll help keep the warehouse running smoothly, ensuring products are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while maintaining strong stock control and organisation. For the right person, there is a genuine pathway from temporary employment into a permanent position. What You'll Be Doing

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Forklift licence and experience advantageous, but not essential
• Must be legally entitled to work in
