Job summary

Remarkable Contracting HB is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler for Rotorua/Taupo. You will join a family-owned team and contribute to high-quality tiling across residential and commercial projects. The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and reliable, independent work with teamwork when needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years tiling experience, ability to read plans, and strong time management. A full driver’s licence and basic English are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in all areas of tiling work (shower screeds beneficial).
• Ability to read plans, measure and complete a project from start to finish.
• High standards of workmanship and professionalism.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
• Strong time management and organisation skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Full driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Work across residential and commercial tiling projects, completing tiling work from start to finish.
• Set out tiles and measure layouts to spec.
• Prepare and waterproof surfaces, grout and sealant work, including underfloor heating prep.

Due to growth across our business, we're looking for an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team in Rotorua / Taupo.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about going the extra mile for our customers and strives for excellence and customer satisfaction in every job.

You will need to demonstrate:

• 3+ years experience in all areas of tiling work (experience laying shower screeds will be beneficial)
• The ability to read plans, measure and complete a project from start to finish
• High standards of workmanship
• The ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
• Strong time management and organisation skills
• High standards of professionalism
• A reliable work ethic
• Basic English communication skills
• Full Drivers licence

Any relevant qualifications / certifications will be highly regarded, but are not essential.

You will be working across both residential and commercial projects, completing tiling work from start to finish - Including setting out tiles, waterproofing, grouting, sealant work, underfloor heating, prepping job sites and cleaning.
