We’re looking for a dedicated Vocational Consultant to join our small, passionate Wellington team. You’ll have the opportunity to hone your skills and experience across a variety of contracts – not only guiding clients through rehabilitation (ACC) or job loss (MSD) into employment but also working with secondary school students with learning challenges and neurodiversity, as they prepare for life after school. You will also have the opportunity to offer EAP Careers Counselling.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Wellington CBD, Petone or Porirua.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Tertiary qualification / Career Development Association of New Zealand member (or have the ability to obtain CDANZ membership - we can support you to apply for an alternative pathway)
  • A genuine people-person with excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Experience in career coaching, recruitment, education, HR or related fields (vocational rehabilitation experience a bonus but not essential)
  • Passion for helping others achieve their goals
