Job summary

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand teacher registration is required.
• Must be a certificated teacher.
• Experience teaching Visual Arts preferred.
• Ability to teach Junior and Senior students in line with the NZ Curriculum.

We seek a keen and enthusiastic Visual Art teacher to join our high performing team. Applicants should be confident in teaching Junior and Senior students, a visual arts background preferred .

Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration and a working knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum. The successful applicant will have:

• proven classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all akonga.
• a commitment to the progress of all ākonga
• ability to work collaboratively to raise student achievement
• will whakamana the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga is upheld
• be adaptable with a willingness to explore differentiated teaching and learning approaches
• commitment to relational pedagogy and restorative practices
