Job summary

Ryman Healthcare is hiring a Food and Beverage Attendant at Charles Upham Retirement Village in Rangiora (near Christchurch). The role is part-time, Thursday to Sunday 16:00–19:30 (14 hours/week), with weekend pay uplift and a friendly, supportive team environment.

The village offers growth opportunities and a positive, hospitable workplace atmosphere. You will create a vibrant atmosphere, serve residents and their families, manage refreshments, and keep the village centre tidy while supporting

Qualifications

• Empathy and a caring approach to residents and families.
• Reliable, friendly and professional manner.
• Must be 20 years or older.
• Must hold LCQ and Duty Managers License.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Charles Upham Retirement Village inRangiora (30 mins from Christchurch City) as a Food and Beverage Attendant. This is a Part Time position working Thursday-Sunday 1600-1930 (14 hours/week)

In this role you will:

• Create a vibrant, interesting and hospitable atmosphere in the Village Centre
• Provide a food and beverage service to residents, their guests and families
• Order, stock and organise a full range of refreshments
• Ensure the village centre is tidy and well presented at all times
• Work closely with and support your colleagues

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Strong empathy

• Must be 20 years or older
• Must hold LCQ and Duty Managers License
