Overview

Food and Beverage Attendant (Part-time) at James Wattie Retirement Village, Havelock North. Thursday to Saturday, 16:00–20:00. Additional $2.50 per hour for all weekend hours worked. This role supports a friendly, hospitality-focused environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and provide table service for bar menu items
• Set up the bar and village centre for food and beverage service
• Serve a full range of alcoholic, low-alcohol, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Deliver food and drinks in a friendly, professional manner
• Create a vibrant, hospitable atmosphere in the Village Centre
• Order, stock, and organise a full range of refreshments
• Ensure the village centre is tidy and well presented at all times
• Work closely with and support colleagues

Qualifications

• License Controller Qualification (LCQ) or Duty Manager's Certificate
• Must hold a Duty Manager's license or be willing to gain this
• Strong empathy
• Outstanding communication skills
• Reliable, friendly and professional manner
