A leading retirement village operator in Blenheim is seeking a Village Assistant for a fixed-term position. You will be the first point of contact for residents and will assist the Village Manager with a variety of operational and administrative tasks. Strong customer service skills and the ability to relate to elderly residents are essential. This role offers diversity in responsibilities and a supportive work environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Village Assistant to join our team at our Blenheim Village. This is a fixed-term position until March to assist in providing village cover, reporting directly to the Village Manager.

Our Village Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families. The Village Assistant role provides great diversity, therefore you would provide a degree of both operational and administrative cover for the Village Manager. This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for all Village related matters whilst on duty.

The hours of work will be Saturday 8.00am - 4.30pm and also on an on call basis for other shifts. Mid December the role will also increase in days due to holiday cover.
